Police are asking for witnesses to come forward following the assault of a 31 year old man on Grafton Street, Northampton.
The victim had intervened when seeing three men around one woman, and resulted in him being stabbed in the arm.
The incident occurred on August 31 between 2am and 3am, by the petrol station at Grafton Street.
Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any footage to get in contact with them, calling on 101.
