Witnesses are being sought after a man was assaulted during an incident inside a shop in St James Park Road, Northampton.
On Thursday, August 11, between 4.10pm and 4.20pm, the man in his 50s was assaulted after intervening in a disagreement involving two other men inside the Premier Shop.
The offender, who had a knife, chased the other man he was arguing with out of the shop before getting on a bicycle and riding off.
Witnesses or anyone with information which could assist the investigation are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

*A 23-year-old man from Northampton has been arrested in connection with this incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
